Göke has been head of Messe Berlin since 1 July 2013.
The contract was due expire in 2016. Thanks to the results achieved, the supervisory board of Messe Berlin the board has renewed the contract in advance.
Peter Zühlsdorff, chairman of the supervisory board of Messe Berlin said: “The supervisory board is extremely satisfied with the company’s economic performance and Dr. Christian Göke’s leadership.
For this reason, and in recognition of his outstanding achievements, the supervisory board and the representatives of the shareholders have agreed an early renewal of Dr. Christian Göke’s contract.“
