Networking and innovation in The Netherlands

The RAI has published its latest update and guidance on what to expect from the ISSA/Interclean Amsterdam 2016 show. Taking place from 10th – 13th May 2016, the show is dedicated to the theme ‘Networking and Innovation‘ and will include some exciting new features and innovations in the way the exhibition itself is staged.

The 2016 show will feature over 700 exhibitors from over 40 countries, showcasing their products and solutions in a total floor area of approximately 60,000sq.m.

The RAI also reports that more live demonstrations are to be given across the show floor than ever before, including in the Outdoor Cleaning Show and High Pressure Demonstration Area where visitors will be encouraged to ‘try-it-yourself’ with many of the products on display.

The RAI reports that it has received strong interest from exhibitors across a broad spectrum of cleaning products and solutions.

However the ‘Washroom‘ section of the exhibition is one which has seen particularly rapid take-up of the available space. This area is completely dedicated to sanitary hygiene and covers 12,000sq.m in Halls 10 and 11 with 170+ exhibitors representing all the leading hygiene brands already confirmed. The manufacturers of specialised products for steam cleaning are conveniently located together in Hall 11, providing visitors with a complete market overview.

While the exact details of some of the show’s events programme, such as the ISSA educational conference and the new InnovationLab, are still being finalised, initiatives such as seminars on cutting-edge subjects like ‘The Rise of the Robots‘ or topical industry issues such as ‘Whether To Rent or Buy‘ are confirmed and timetabled.

In addition to being a physical event, the show will serve as a virtual platform where suppliers and buyers can connect and interact. To achieve this, the RAI has made a substantial investment in the creation of an online community, in upgraded online lead generation systems, as well as in indoor way-finding and matchmaking tools.

One key innovation here is a new, dedicated content-based portal where visitors can fully prepare for their visit online and schedule appointments to visit a particular exhibitor.
