Markus Asch, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Management and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Alfred Kärcher SE & Co. KG, is celebrating his 25 years at Kärcher on 1 April 2020. The shareholder family congratulated him warmly and thanked him for his outstanding commitment to the success and well-being of the company.
Entry into Kärcher
After studying engineering at the Esslingen University of Applied Sciences Markus Asch began his career at Kärcher in 1995 as a team leader in the development and project planning of commercial vehicle washes. In 1997 he was appointed head of department for the commercial vehicle and train wash product areas. In 2002 he took over the development and management of project and product management as well as sales for commercial machines, which he led as Vice President until 2007.
Appointment to the Board of Management
Markus Asch was appointed to the Kärcher Board of Management on July 1, 2007; since 2010, he has been Deputy Chairman. Until the end of 2019, he was responsible for the cleaning machines for the professional business division as Managing Director. In the context of an expansion and reorganization of the Board of Management, his responsibility since January 1, 2020, is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Alfred Kärcher SE & Co. KG.
